The “Open Fit” style of hearing aids have been the most recent improvement in hearing aid technology affording an increased level of comfort and a more natural sound quality than was previously possible with custom fit devices. Open fit hearing aids allow a large amount of air flow into the ear canal while the aid is in use and consequently a user has very little sense of even wearing it.
